Mrs. R.A. Awe attended the Federal Government Girls’ College, Kazaure, Jigawa State for her secondary education. She also attended the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos from where she graduated in the 1994/1995 academic session with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Political Science. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2005 from the same institution.
She started her career in the Lagos State Civil Service in September, 1999 as Administrative Officer II, Grade Level 08 and rose to the post of Deputy Director, Administration and Human Resource before her current posting as Director, Administration and Human Resource of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency (PPA).
Mrs. Awe is an Associate Member of the Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (IPAN), member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and member of the Association of Human Resources (AHR).
She has attended several training programmes, seminars and workshops on Administration and Human Resource Management among others.
She is happily married with children.
