Mr. Gabriel Olawale Akinyemi was born in Agege, Lagos on 28th October, 1967. He was deployed as Director of Finance and Accounts to the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency in 2021.
For his primary education, Mr. Akinyemi attended C.A.C. Primary School, Ajegunle, Agege, Lagos. He then proceeded to District Commercial Secondary School, Aramoko Ekiti where he obtained his Ordinary Level School Certificate and obtained a National Certificate in Education (NCE) from the Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Mr. Akinyemi obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State and a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.
He was employed into the Civil Service of Lagos State on 5th March, 1990 as Finance and Supply Assistant and rose through the ranks to his present post of Director, Finance and Accounts.
Mr. Akinyemi is an Associate member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) as well as the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). He is happily married with children.
